Black Assam Tea is from the most tea-producing region in the world. It's a malty black tea growing wild in the tropicaly warm and wet Assam region at the edge of the eastern Himalayan mountains.
In order not to get an unpleasant bitterness take care not to oversteep and begin with an experimental time of 3 minutes, increasing if you find you're not extracting enough character from the leaves.
