The Moretti Polegato family are experts in combining quality and quantity. While Mario Moretti Polegato has become the shoe king with the Geox brand, his brother Giancarlo Moretti Polegato is the owner of Villa Sandi, the leading brand in the prosecco hills. The truth is that the Moretti family has been dedicated to wine culture for generations and at their wonderful Venetian villa in Palladio, which dates back to 1622, they produce proseccos that are sold in 92 countries around the world.

A vast territory and an enviable natural heritage from which Villa Sandi creates great wines like this Villa Sandi Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Extra Dry. A prosecco made from the Glera star variety grown in vineyards on soils composed of moraines, limestone, silt and calcareous-clay located in the municipality of Crocetta del Montello, in the province of Treviso, between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene. By promoting vineyard cultivation in a modern way, they grow grapes of the highest quality that are taken straight to the winery. There they are gently pressed and the resulting must ferments in stainless steel tanks. The base wine then undergoes a second fermentation using autoclave refermentation, following the charmat method, and is aged on its own yeasts before bottling.

Part of the DOCG Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore, the productive heart of a territory with an extraordinary calling and unique beauty, Villa Sandi Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Extra Dry is a harmonious, charming prosecco that speaks volumes of the Moretti family’s expertise.
